15th AD Debate: Joan Buchanan and Abram Wilson
The first debate of the campaign for the 15th Assembly District will be tomorrow morning at the Marriott Hotel in San Ramon. The debate is sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce, and is free of charge. It should be a good debate to watch. If you are available, try to make it and support Joan.

Sacramento road trip
Oh, hi again everybody. I posted that event for this upcoming weekend, and obviously carpooling would be a great idea.
Here's yet more info on Dr. Durston:
Hey you (healthy and technically-inclined young East Bay) Dems, let's turn Red to Blue!
So who wants to get a head start on November?
Want to help out good Democratic candidates in red areas of California? Know how to use the VAN voter datatbase system? Know how to set up precinct walking packets? Want to put those skills to use? You can start this saturday with a morning training in Sacramento, followed by canvassing for Charlie Brown or Bill Durston. The latter candidate is the one I spoke to several people about at the June meeting. In case it wasn't clear, large parts of the Congressional 3rd District overlap with Joan Buchanan's fight in the 15th Assembly District...

McCain admits he is computer illiterate
This is pretty amazing. Obama wants to appoint a CTO for the country and McCain cannot even use a computer. I also have some issues with his choice of favorite movie he has seen in the last year. He is completely out of touch with the modern world.
June Meeting - Pyramid Alehouse
We're going back to our roots to have this month's meeting at Pyramid Alehouse in downtown Walnut Creek.
We're going to be putting some structure in place for the club.
Some Items on the Agenda
- Decide which organization to charter under
- Compile a list of charter members (we need at least 20)
- Call for volunteers for officer positions
- Put our goals for the club down on paper
If anyone else has something they would like to add agenda, add it as a comment to this post.
Updated - Scheduled Site Maintenance
I will be bringing the site completely down for several hours sometime today/tonight for a total system upgrade. I will be wiping out the existing Database, and all users will have to re-register their profile info.
Site is online we will not have to re-register people, existing accounts are intact. User registration has been reopened.
